The LA property mogul behind the biggest reality show on Netflix says he is bemused at becoming a sex symbol – telling fans who send nude pictures: “I’m not on the market”.
Jason Oppenheim, worth £40million as co-owner of the deluxe estate agency at the centre of smash-hit Selling Sunset, says he is happy to be a bachelor until the right woman comes along.
Yet his no-nonsense manner has won a throng of male and female admirers from across the globe.
“I get really aggressive sexual texts,” says 43-year-old Jason. “They’re too rude to even talk about, I don’t know how they get my number.
“It’s pretty ridiculous, their language and sexual desires.
“I share it with friends and laugh, but my MO is simply to ignore that stuff – I’m not a sex symbol, thanks.”
Jason’s Oppenheim Group, founded with twin brother Brett, sells homes in the Hollywood Hills to the likes of Nicole Scherzinger, Orlando Bloom, Jessica Alba and Dakota Johnson.
Selling Sunset centres on the estate agents’ lives and sales.
Now in its third season, it has become Netflix’s highest rated show both in the UK and across the Atlantic.
