Wellington city councillor Simon Woolf has been implored by his colleagues not to make Shelly Bay a political issue as an election looms.
With local body elections in the coming months, the requests asked Woolf not to politicise or campaign on one of Wellington’s most controversial developments, in which Wellington City Council has been one of the main players and Woolf has been an open critic.
