A “reputable” real estate agent who on-sold three properties with mark-ups of over $300,000 has been found guilty of disgraceful conduct in relation to mortgage fraud by the Real Estate Agents disciplinary tribunal.

Tracy Taylor worked for LJ Hooker’s Ellerslie franchise and on-sold three properties between June and August 2016.

All three transactions were linked to one person, Ramasubramanian Narayanaraja.

When the Real Estate Agents Authority (REAA) took the case to the industry’s disciplinary tribunal, Taylor’s defence was she did not know what mortgage fraud was.

Taylor met Narayanaraja at an open home before later being introduced to his wife Prema Ramasubramanian and his brother.
