Sophie Monk, host of Love Island, has placed her recently vacated investment property, a five-bedroom, three-bathroom house in the Riverdowns Estate on the Gold Coast, up for sale. The property, spanning 4020sq m, garnered substantial interest within the first 10 days of being listed, accumulating over 3100 views on realestate.com.au. Listing agents Steve and James Weir from Harcourts Coastal have reported multiple offers, primarily from acreage lifestyle buyers with a budget of around $2 million, and there are hints of a pending conditional offer.

The Helensvale residence, purchased by Monk in 2016 for $1.1 million, boasts a renovated kitchen overlooking an entertainment area, outdoor alfresco space, and a swimming pool. The master bedroom includes triple wardrobes, an ensuite, and balcony access. With timber flooring, fresh white shutters, and ornate stairs leading to the second floor from the entrance hall, the home exudes a comfortable and stylish charm. Additionally, the property features multiple storage sheds, a boat ramp with covered boat storage, and a jetty.

Born in London and moving to the Gold Coast at the age of two, Monk attended Helensvale Primary School. After residing in Los Angeles for a decade, she returned to Australia in 2015. Monk, now based on the NSW Central Coast, lives with her husband, photographer Joshua Gross. While she parts ways with her Gold Coast property, Monk retains ownership of a Mermaid Beach unit and a Matcham property on the Central Coast, purchased in 2003 and 2020, respectively.
