A Dunedin surveyor is going to the UK to argue the case that Baldwin St is the steepest street in the world – not a street in Wales.
Earlier this year Guinness World Records officially recognised Ffordd Pen Llech as being the world’s steepest street, toppling New Zealand’s claim to the record.
However Toby Stoff, who has surveyed Baldwin St and wants to do the same with Ffordd Pen Llech, would argue there was an error in the methodology used to measure the Welsh street’s incline when he appears on the British “court” show Judge Rinder.
