A property made famous by reality-TV show Married at First Sight has hit the market with an asking price of $2.8 million.

The home called Kurra-Chede, at 570 Slopes Road, Kurrajong, was used as the backdrop for the pre-wedding preparations for 2019 MAFS couple Melissa Lucarelli and Dino Hira.

It includes two homes – Kurra-Chede Villa and Kurra-Chede Manor – each with three bedrooms. The Manor has been used as a bed and breakfast for visitors to the area, including wedding guests.

The property has a 27-tree orchard with citrus, apricot, cherry and nut trees, a vineyard with shiraz and chardonnay vines and a Roman-style salt water pool.

Owner Jeanette Wehbe, who works in real estate, and her sister Jackie have been running the business for the past two years.

Ms Wehbe named the two houses using a combination of the suburb and her mother’s name Rachede. The 2.38-hectare property also has stunning views of the surrounding Blue Mountains region.

“The landscape is beautiful and the house is built high up, so there’s this feeling that you’re quite high and elevated,” Ms Wehbe said.

“One thing I will miss is the pool, it’s so beautiful and you get this feeling of openness as you’re soaking up the sun and the fresh air and experiencing the tranquility and peace around the gorgeous gardens. I feel like I’m in heaven when I’m there.”
