Auckland, New Zealand – Zilda Williams, a seasoned account manager, is shaking up her career strategy in response to the growing economic pressures of today. Despite earning a six-figure salary, the 41-year-old finds it increasingly difficult to sustain her lifestyle, prompting her to return to modeling—this time on the adult content platform, OnlyFans.
“I love my job and I’ve worked my butt off for years to get to where I am in this industry, but with the cost of living crisis I don’t think six figures is enough to get by,” Zilda told DailyMail.com.
The corporate professional, who resides with her rescue dog Willow, shoulders the full weight of a substantial mortgage. “It’s just me and Willow. I’m paying off a massive mortgage all by myself and I don’t have a husband to split the bills with,” she shared.
A Return to Her Modeling Roots
In her twenties, Zilda graced the pages of men’s magazines like FHM, showcasing her glamour modeling talents. Her career then pivoted toward the corporate sector in Auckland, where she traded bikinis for business suits and carved out a successful path as an account manager. But as economic conditions worsen, Zilda has revisited her past career to alleviate financial strain.
“After seeing that many of my old pals from my modeling days were driving Porches and buying real estate thanks to OnlyFans, I decided to give it a try for myself,” she said.
With her OnlyFans venture, Zilda has shifted from her professional attire to flaunting her curves in thongs and lingerie. “I’ve done plenty of photoshoots in bikinis and lingerie before, so why not make a little money from it? I’m keeping it classy so I have nothing to be embarrassed about. It’s not porn—it’s tasteful stuff.”

Balancing Corporate Life and Online Fame
While she continues to enjoy the financial security of her nine-to-five job, Zilda feels it’s no longer sufficient for a single woman to live comfortably. This realization has led her to explore the opportunities OnlyFans offers.
Despite initial apprehensions and warnings from friends and family about jeopardizing her corporate career, Zilda remains undeterred. “I want to pay off my mortgage and retire early. I’m never going to be able to do that in today’s economy,” she said. “People think I’m stupid for doing this, but I’m far from a dumb blonde. I have plans to use my earnings to start a business, so then I can be my own boss.”
Since launching her OnlyFans account in June, Zilda has experienced a surge of interest. “I wasn’t sure if anyone would care, but as soon as I posted about my OnlyFans, I got so many DMs from guys wanting to send me money and subscribe,” she enthused. “The men messaging me are anywhere from 19 to 70. The younger guys all call me a MILF, even though I don’t have kids. I’ve even had some women in my DMs!”

Embracing a New Chapter
Zilda reflects on her newfound confidence and appeal. “Men actually hit on me more today than they did when I was 25—I don’t know why. Maybe it’s because women get more confident with age?” she mused. “I take good care of myself, I exercise and eat right, and I’ve never felt more comfortable in my own skin than I do right now at 41.”
Although she acknowledges the risks associated with her choice, Zilda is optimistic about her future. “At the end of the day, I’m going to be the one having the last laugh. Yes, it’s a risk to my reputation in the corporate world, but without risk, there’s no reward.”

Others in Similar Straits
Zilda is not alone in turning to OnlyFans for additional income. Last year, Chloe Sasha, a single mother-of-four, left her receptionist job and now makes $30,000 a month on the platform. Conversely, some have regretted the shift; Megan Gaither, a former teacher, warned others against joining OnlyFans, despite earning significantly more than she did as a teacher.
As Zilda navigates this bold chapter of her life, she remains focused on her goals: financial freedom, entrepreneurial aspirations, and, perhaps most importantly, a sense of personal empowerment.
