‘ 90s Supermodel and poet Emma Balfour has sold her Alexandria warehouse on the quiet, pocketing $2.075 million for the investment 20 years after she bought it.

Balfour had recently returned from London to Australia on a modelling trip in 1999 when she bought the warehouse space as an investment for $500,000, having been drawn to its quirky features and the fact the hippies who sold it to her had plastered out all the corners to be rounded.

At the time Balfour was also reunited with her teenage sweetheart, photographer Andrew Cowen, with whom she shares the Bondi Beach Californian bungalow she had bought a year earlier for for $642,500.
