- Comedian Amy Schumer has shown her softer side, giving her father the early Christmas gift of a lifetime: buying back the family farm he was forced to sell 25 years ago.
Schumer was just nine years old when her dad, Gordon, was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and her family went bankrupt, Today reported.
Now, with her star rising, she’s bought the farm back as a Christmas surprise.
The Trainwreck actress shared a screenshot of a FaceTime call with her father, where she beamed as she revealed the news.
