Suzanne Somers, the star of Three’s Company, passed away at the age of 76 on October 15, just one day before her 77th birthday, in Palm Springs, California. Now, her husband, Alan Hamel, aged 87, has reported experiencing ‘very strange’ occurrences inside the home they once shared.

Hamel detailed three unusual events in a single day that left him contemplating the possibility of Suzanne’s spirit being present. Firstly, a hummingbird unexpectedly entered their house, navigating through the kitchen, living room, and dining room. Astonishingly, the bird hovered in front of a framed picture of the couple, landing on top and lingering there.

Following this, the fireplace spontaneously ignited, and music started playing from a composition by Suzanne’s favorite, albeit obscure, composer. Alan found the sequence of events particularly eerie, emphasizing the unfamiliarity of the composer to others.

Hamel, who previously mentioned feeling Suzanne’s presence beside him in bed, also described having a ‘vision’ of her looking at him. He shared their last moments together, highlighting the intimate connection they shared even during Suzanne’s final days.

Reflecting on their unique love story, Hamel recalled how they met in the 1960s, fell in love on a houseboat, and lived in the hippie community of Sausalito. He revealed Suzanne’s dying wish was for him to continue their company, providing organic products to her customers.

The grieving widower expressed the difficulty of being without Suzanne after 55 years of constant companionship. Despite the challenges, he believes their souls are linked and expressed a belief in the afterlife, suggesting the possibility of reuniting with Suzanne.

The recounting of Suzanne’s final days included Hamel’s narration of their road trip from Illinois to California and Suzanne’s preference for a comfortable passing at home. Suzanne battled cancer throughout her adult life, with Hamel attributing her resilience to a challenging childhood.

Now facing life alone for the first time in decades, Hamel finds solace in constant reminders of Suzanne, embodied in the photos and memories scattered throughout their shared spaces. Their enduring love story began 55 years ago.

He also had a 'vision' of her. 'I was laying on my side of the bed and I stretch my arm out like I always did when I held hands with Suzanne,' he said at the time. 'I was half asleep when I had a vision that she was in bed with me and turned around and looked right at me - I could feel her presence, I felt she was there. It shocked me so much that I open my eyes thinking maybe she could be there but of course she wasn't. I feel in someway she was visiting me,' he shared. Seen in 1978
