Nestled in the semi-rural locale of Glenorie, approximately 44 kilometers from the CBD, the expansive 16.19-hectare property showcases an exquisite American-style ‘chateau’ boasting eight bedrooms and as many bathrooms.

Previously listed at $12 million earlier in 2023, the current asking price remains undisclosed. Familiarly known as the ‘Gone with the Wind’ house within the community, this distinctive mansion, reminiscent of the plantation featured in the iconic 1939 film, is highly sought after as a filming location.
Despite reports from The Daily Telegraph that various producers, including those from The Bachelor, have offered substantial fees to film on the estate, all such proposals have reportedly been declined by the present owners. Filmmakers are known to pay up to $45,000 per week for sought-after locations.

With its striking white façade adorned with columns and a spacious upper-storey verandah, the primary residence closely mirrors the renowned ‘plantation mansion’ from Gone with the Wind.
