DESPITE talk of softening demand across Sydney property, the prestige market has remained largely untouched by any dampening, with the biggest sale of the year rounding out to a bullish $71 million.
CoreLogic has complied the tops sales from across the state this year and it’s little surprise that the state’s highest sales were all in the eastern suburbs.
Once again, Sydney has also outdone Melbourne, with Victoria’s largest sale coming in at $16.8 million for a Toorak house — just $800,000 more than Sydney’s second most expensive unit sale for the year.
