New Zealanders are unhappy with real estate agents’ habit of over-promising and under-delivering on the sales price of their properties.
Property market data firm CoreLogic surveyed 900 vendors across the country, asking them about their experience with the salespeople who sold their properties.
It found 64 per cent said they received good or excellent service. But there was room for improvement. Just under 20 per cent said they received poor or disastrous service.
The survey showed a significant decline in confidence as vendors went through the sales process.
