A St Kilda house from the 2019 season of reality renovation show The Block is up for rent, asking $2200 a week.

The four-bedroom home at 38C Grey Street was reworked by fan favourites Andy and Deb in their signature light-and-bright style.

The house is on offer either fully furnished, partially furnished or unfurnished, and is listed by Jellis Craig Stonnington.

“You are not just leasing a house, you are leasing a furnished property which has been styled,” Jellis Craig managing director Andrew McCann said.

“It is quite unique from that point of view. We have already had a lot of inquiry.”

The home sold for $3.42 million at auction in November 2019, winning Andy and Deb third place in the competition, and was bought by investors who thought they might use it as a city residence in future.

It was previously leased through a different agency after then being advertised at $2295 a week.

Mr McCann said the home was priced to lease, adding that his agency had one of its most productive letting months of the past two years in December as Melbourne emerged from its extended lockdown.

“[Lockdown] created a bit of a backlog of properties we couldn’t list, so there is more on the market now,” he said.
