With just two more weeks of The Block 2022 to go, teams are close to finishing their massive country properties in Gisborne.

That means auction day isn’t too far away and we will soon be watching the five houses go under the hammer.

Here’s everything we know so far about this year’s auctions.

When are The Block auctions?

The official date is yet to be announced, but in previous years it has aired air a week after the final Room Reveals.

Who are the real estate agents representing the teams for auction?

Teams selected their agents early in the season after meeting several at their first challenge. There was a frenzy to find representation after Tom and Sarah-Jane quietly locked in David Wood before anyone else had the chance to woo him.

Once that news was out, the other teams selected their agents as soon as possible.

Here’s which agents are representing the five houses in Gisborne this year.

House 1: Natalie Fagan and Ashlee McKee from Belle Property Daylesford led by David Wood from Belle Property Albert Park

House 2: Marty Fox and Kim McQueen from WhiteFox Real Estate

House 3: Sean Parker from Macedon Ranges Sotheby’s International Realty

House 4: Kirrily Evans from TCC Real Estate

House 5: Aaron Hill and Maddy Perfonowski from Ray White Sunbury

What is the prize money on The Block?

The team that makes the most profit above reserve on auction day will take home an extra $100,000 prize money.

All teams will keep any money they make above reserve price on the sale of their house.

What is the price guide for The Block 2022 homes?

The five houses in Gisborne are priced from $4 to $4.4 million. This is because they all sit on 10 acre blocks with stunning views of the Macedon Ranges and have a similar number of rooms.

You can find out more about the homes here.

Who will be picking the auction order?

For the third year in a row the winner of the Domain Superpower Leaderboard will pick the auction order.

That power goes to the team who has scored the highest total points from the judges across the season.

Currently Tom and Sarah-Jane are sitting at the top of the Leaderboard, but with the most room wins under their belts and the Bonus Point Gnome at their disposal, it’s unlikely anyone can catch them at this stage.
