If he could, The Block‘s Mikaere Gardiner would spend all his time living in the backyard.
Gardiner, formerly of New Plymouth, and his wife Sophia are one of the four couples on this year’s The Block NZ Firehouse which kicked off on Monday night.
Gardiner, who now lives in Turangi, says he “honestly, genuinely loves renovating”.
“I think every house that we’ve been in we’ve renovated as well to an extent,” he said.
