OPINION: There’s a great photo doing the media rounds this morning (below). The Block NZ: On Point winners Amy and Stu are celebrating their win and punching the air for joy.

But that was a set up. That’s not what happened when they learned they had won Series Seven and would be taking home $169,000 and a brand new Suzuki S-Cross Prestige.

They were curiously flat, as they have been right the way through their room reveal wins. In fact Amy actually said on auction night: “I feel weird, nothingness! I don’t think it’s sunk in yet, but I might start screaming in seven minutes.” She didn’t.
