If you were hoping the next series of The Block NZ might be based in Wellington, Christchurch or some other city you are probably out of luck.
Two adjoining properties in Huia Road, Point Chevalier, Auckland look likely to be the location for the 2020 series.
The houses, at 104 and 106 Huia Road have been bought by Warner Bros International Television Production New Zealand Limited, the producers of The Block NZ. The two 680 square-metre properties are large enough to accommodate four houses and the existing houses are likely to be removed.
