The list ranks real estate agents across Australia based on a range of performance criteria, including sales volume, year-on-year growth of business and consistency of performance.
The group’s best performer was One Agency Singleton principal, Lindy Harris, who placed third in the hotly contested ranking, this following on from an award earlier in the year as one of the leading female agents across Australia.
One Agency’s other awardees were all from Tasmania. Fourth was Leigh Jordan, from Devonport, followed by Matt Grice, Burnie in fifth. In 29th position was Josh Hart of Launceston.
“We’re delighted to see Lindy, Leigh, Matt and Josh recognised as true leaders in the industry, measured against criteria that buyers and sellers hold dear,” commented One Agency’s Head of Australasian Membership, John Stewart.
“That our Hunter and Tasmanian cohort lead the industry in sales performance and ethics is no surprise and a true delight. These offices have long set the bar in sales, marketing and systems,” he added.
“With our own Annual Awards Dinner being held in Sydney in a fortnight, I suspect there will be some major battles involving this outstanding group,” Mr Stewart
REB editor Tim Neary said the country’s more experienced agents emerged as the top 50 dealmakers, maintaining extraordinary levels of consistent performance despite market challenges.
“It’s a group of established agents separating themselves from the pack by being true business leaders in the industry,” said Mr Neary.
Mr Neary said this is the foremost ranking of dealmakers in Australia. The data collected for the 2018 REB Dealmakers ranking was verified by a senior member of the agency or network, or the office’s accountant.
