Melbourne’s “$200m agent” is on track to set a new benchmark for sales as the ultra-luxury market pumps out of lockdown.
Melbourne’s “king” of real estate is eyeing off a new money-making record after sealing the deal on more than $120m worth of property in just two weeks.
Marshall White’s Marcus Chiminello, who the Herald Sun revealed as Melbourne’s $200m agent in May, said he was on track to crack his own record by the middle of November.
Mr Chiminello was dubbed the city’s $200m agent earlier this year after totalling that amount of sales in a month.
Melbourne’s prestige market has made up for lost time each time a lockdown has been lifted, making agents busier than ever.
“It’s a standout year given how much time has been taken away from us in terms of lockdowns,” Mr Chiminello said.
“When we are on, we are well and truly on. But it has been a standout for the volume of transactions over $15m.”
Marshall White’s Marcus Chiminello and luxury agents Kay & Burton set a new Toorak price record when they recently sold 47 Lansell Rd.
