“When it comes to the world of opulent living and property market success, this season’s contestants on The Block could certainly glean a few valuable lessons from the show’s longtime host, Scott Cam.

Despite his reputation as an everyday Australian with a knack for humor, Scott Cam’s residence, situated on one of Vaucluse’s most exclusive streets in Sydney, is far from ordinary. Photos obtained by Yahoo Lifestyle reveal the grandeur of his Mediterranean-style mansion, which spans three levels, boasts three bathrooms, four bedrooms, and accommodates up to five cars. It even includes a recording studio where he records voice-overs for the reality show.

Scott Cam, the Gold Logie winner, acquired the family home for $4.6 million in 2012, shortly after commencing his tenure as the host of The Block. Over the years, its value has skyrocketed to $11 million.

During the pandemic, Scotty disclosed on Instagram that he utilized his time in isolation to enhance the property, even constructing his very own backyard “cave gym.”

Vaucluse is also home to Hamish and Zoë Foster Blake’s $8.925 million mansion, which they purchased in December 2020 after relocating from Melbourne.

Scott Cam’s impressive real estate holdings include a $2 million property in Rosebery, a coastal house in Narrawallee, and a farm near Mudgee. This week, it was announced that the Gisbourne property he renovated on last year’s season of The Block has been listed with an asking price of $4.1 million to $4.3 million.

Scotty remarked, “I think the house has amazing artwork and design, and it’s full of history, which I love. It’s going to make a family happy as it’s a wonderful family home.”

His luxurious four-bedroom abode, affectionately dubbed Camalot, boasts features like a 3D-printed concrete cabana, an outdoor kitchen with a pizza oven, and a shed with a “man cave.” This property has even made appearances in several episodes of this season, as winning contestants visited Scotty for dinner.”
