Eastern suburbs real estate agent and Sydney socialite Warren Ginsberg has been charged with possessing a prohibited drug after a police crackdown in Bondi Beach.
Plain clothed officers combed the Bondi area on August 14 targeting drug-related activity.
“While patrolling Hall Street, officers arrested a man after allegedly finding him in possession of cocaine,” NSW Police said in a statement.
“Police will allege the man entered a vehicle on Jaques Avenue and exited a short time later.”
The alleged bust occurred during the city’s strict lockdown.
Mr Ginsberg, 33, was charged with possessing a prohibited drug and will front Waverley Local Court on September 14.
The top real estate agent has had a number of high profile partners including a fleeting romance with former Home And Away actress Jodi Gordon.
His social media pages suggest he is a mainstay in the eastern suburbs social scene and has shared a number of photos with celebrity clients like Pip Edwards.
His profile on the Ray White website has him listed as the number two salesperson in the eastern suburbs with more than a decade experience in the industry.
Mr Ginsberg was described as an “acute strategist” and “strong negotiator”.
He has a decorated resume having won or been nominated for several awards.
“His attention to detail and expertise in guiding vendors and purchasers through the transaction process are truly outstanding,” his profile reads.
