Dame Lynda Bethridge Topp and wife Donna have listed their Canterbury lifestyle block for sale, saying it’s time to downsize.
But the Topp Twin says the couple will be certain to buy a new property with a view of the mountains, probably somewhere near Methven.
“Once you’ve had mountains in your view, you can never move away from them. I’m a true-blue South Islander now.”
Dame Lynda says sister Jools (Dame Julie Bethridge Topp) gave her the prompt she needed to make the decision to list the 7.23ha Stavely property after nearly 12 years.
