PHOTO: Wellington mayor Tory Whanau. NOW TO LOVE
The upcoming year marks a significant shift in the mayor Tory Whanau’s surroundings as she readies herself to relocate to her newly acquired townhouse in Mt Cook, Wellington.
The construction is set to conclude in February. Having purchased off the plans, she sold her residence in the northern suburb of Ngaio and has been leasing in the interim.
“Suburban living doesn’t quite resonate with me; it’s very family-oriented and wonderful, but I prefer being within walking distance of everything in the city. As a young, single professional, the city center is much more aligned with my preferences,” she expressed.
