TV presenter and former The Price is Right model Elise May is selling her Camperdown property following a huge renovation.
The 1930 cottage at 15 McKinnon St was in worse-for-wear condition when Ms May and her husband bought it as an investment in 2020.
After a loving restoration, ‘Millrose’ is now poised to make the presenter a profit of more than $400,000 in just two years, with CoreLogic records showing the couple paid $275,000 in 2020.
It has now been listed with a $625,000-$687,500 price guide.
The house was completely flipped, now featuring new flooring, bathrooms, an updated kitchen and a garage that has been transformed into a billiards room with a bar and TV.
Ms May, who also lives in Camperdown with her family, said she became aware of a demand for local accommodation in the town, which led to her renting the 15 McKinnon St home through Air BnB.
“We wanted to make it a place you could enjoy staying at,” she said.
Within a week of purchasing the five-bedroom pad, the couple knocked down walls and got to work on the kitchen and laundry.
They are currently renovating their own home, and are considering a move to Warnambool in the near future.
In addition to modelling on game show The Price is Right, Ms May produced an episode of Channel 9’s Australian Succession, where she worked with Kieren Perkins to interview Steve Irwin about his achievements.
She is now a presenter and producer for NAB TV and runs community platform A Helping Hand.
The 15 McKinnon St property goes to auction at 2.30pm on October 15.
