No longer the realms of reality TV, two Sydney households have decided to swap homes. This time it’s permanent.

Glebe resident Sophie Townsend had decided to downsize and put her Hereford Street home on the market, despite dreading the idea of an auction and the uncertainty of an imminent move.

“I hate this sort of stuff, I’d been thinking of selling for quite some time and we just needed a change,” said Ms Townsend.

It was only when neighbours Sharon and Alex Veveris, who were looking to upsize from their Ross Street home, attended one of the open homes and expressed an interest in Ms Townsend’s property that selling agent Matt Carvalho realised the opportunity awaiting all parties involved.
