PHOTO: BARFOOT & THOMPSON Part Flintstones, part faux-modern, this oddity in Mt Roskill is for sale, complete with ‘water ingress issues’ and no Code Compliance Certificate. The auction, which was to have been held October 8, has been postponed till October 15, 2019.
Having attracted intense media interest over the past 24 hours, the auction of the Mt Roskill “ugly house” has been postponed a week. It will now be auctioned on October 5, 2019.
Agent Alex Yang of Barfoot and Thompson has the dubious pleasure of selling the property, which he openly describes as a “disaster”.
The house, which is part “Flintstones” and part faux-modern, leaks (“major water ingress issues” are noted) and it has no Code Compliance Certificate.
As the listing says: “The master dwelling (which has no CCC!) offers 4 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms (incl ensuite), but unfortunately requires major recladding or perhaps even demolishing. Plus – there is a second connecting minor ‘Flintstone-style’ dwelling which has 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom.”
