The stunning Vaucluse estate of restaurant entrepreneur John Szangolies and his wife Heather has hit realestate.com.au in time for China’s Golden Week celebrations.

Listed with Double Bay agent Alison Coopes, Ms Coopes is yet to finalise the price guide for the six-bedroom, five-bathroom home on a massive 1220 sqm block at 24 Olphert Ave.

But sources said it’s likely to have expectations in the $15 million range in the expressions of interest campaign.

Mr Szangolies sold his Urban Purveyor Group (Bavarian Bier Cafe, Sake Restaurants, Löwenbräu Keller and Ananas Bar & Brasserie) to private equity group Quadrant for close to $200 million in 2015.
