PHOTO: Boarding house?
A video obtained by A Current Affair shows the conditions inside a boarding house allegedly disguised as a normal residence in Sydney’s southwest.
There are 11 numbered rooms, each tiny and empty, with mattresses on the floor.
A private bathroom and a shared bathroom are both clearly labelled.
There’s a kitchen with noted from “management” stipulating no cooking after 10pm.
The video also shows 24-hour surveillance and a lot of rubbish.
Lindsey, who used to be a tenant of the home, said the number of tenants at one time could be over 15.
“Basically it’s a hostel, there’s that many rooms in there. It’s a beautiful house and they treat it like rubbish,” he said.
