WA real estate disruptor The Agency Group believes recent acquisitions and further consolidation of the industry in 2019 will put it in pole position when the State’s housing market starts to show new signs of life.

The group – which in just two years since listing on the Australian Securities Exchange has nabbed a 5 per share of the WA market – shuns the dated model of the typical real estate franchise by using cloud-based platform services to support individual agents.

The result, it says, is higher commissions and a business model that favours transactions over property values.

Managing director Paul Nairdone said The Agency had already gained a solid foothold in affluent northern suburbs such as Mt Lawley and Inglewood after acquiring Beaufort Realty and Inglewood Real Estate.
