The minute you meet Jo Nicholls’ exuberant golden retriever Tully, you begin to wonder how her owner ever managed to make over this cute Waiheke Island cottage. Tully is one of those dogs who nose-nudges for attention: she’s friendly, enthusiastic and… everywhere.
“I have to admit there’s one of her hairs embedded in the paintwork of the floor in the bathroom that you can still see in a certain light,” says Jo.
