Waiheke Island’s remote Pearl Bay opened for more housing

Plans to subdivide a huge property at Pearl Bay into seven sections have been given the green light.

Auckland Council has granted resource consent to Koha Bay Limited to create six new sections that will allow for six more houses to be built on the 28.4 hectare property.

Five of the lots will be 2000 square metres with 10 metre wide bush strips between them, one will be 1.2 hectares and another 23.2 hectares.
