The latest report from realestate.co.nz is here and there is an unexpected rise in interest for sales during July, matching the levels usually seen in summer.
While interest in the property market is lively, there were fewer homes to consider, with the total number of sales falling 3.8 percent.
Nationally, new property listings were down 5.4 percent compared to July 2017, with 7508 new listings coming onto the market this past month.
