Te Awamutu woman Hannah Blake says the view from her house is one of the reasons she and her husband decided to buy the land on which they built it.
Their view looks east to Mt Maungatautari and they felt confident that it could never be built out.
She says, while she doesn’t think they paid a premium for the view, it made them more happy about paying the price they did.
