High profile Wellington property developer Ian Cassels has put a repaired 145-bed rest home in Linwood, east Christchurch, on the market for sale.
The Parkwood Rest Home, previously owned and run by Bupa Care Services, was structurally damaged in the February 22 2011 earthquake in Christchurch.
It remained operating until 2017 when it was closed and residents were rehoused in other homes in Canterbury.
Cassels and his partner Patricia Taylor bought the property in 2018 from Bupa, property records show.
