What $70m buys you, Darling: Demand for Sydney trophies is buoyant

ENCOURAGED by the strength of the super prestige market, no fewer than three agents are lining up to sell the landmark Darling Point home of ocean racing yachtsman Matt Allen and his wife Lisa with a guide of $70 million.

The five-bedroom, four-bedroom waterfront home with two jetties at 3 Lindsay Ave has been quietly on the radar since March.

But there’s greater optimism now, with the $100 million of the Fairwater mansion in Point Piper in September followed by the $60 million sale of Rona in Bellevue Hill last month.
