Auckland homeowners challenging their property’s value has hit an all-time low and some experts believe it may be because it has become so hard for some to know what the real value of their home is.

In mid-July ratepayers would be able to see their new rates online with valuations impacting how much owners would be paying.

Property valuation figures were released in November 2017 and owners had until January 16 to object to Auckland Council about these valuations.
