- TWO phone calls changed Catherine De Cristofaro’s life dramatically one morning last October.
The first was from her mum, letting her know some terrible news.
“Mum had rung to let me know that dad had passed away that morning,” Mrs De Cristofaro recalls.
“There was a lot of sadness, but also a bit of relief that he was no longer suffering.
