When a vacant block of riverfront land at New Farm was quietly revealed to have sold for a whopping $17.35 million just days out from Christmas in 2016, it made headlines not just for the price but for the buyers who paid it.
Purchased by three of the grandchildren of Queensland rich-lister and high profile developer Kevin Seymour, it marked a confident – and expensive – first step into property development for siblings Kate, Trent and Ben.
Two and a half years later, their vision for the site is coming to pass with the launch of The Oxlade – one of the most luxurious developments New Farm has seen in years – and the buzz around it has been as big as marketing agent Sarah Hackett expected.
