No matter what you may think of The Block NZ, people were interested in the finished apartments in Kingsland, Auckland.
The four apartments fitted out by the Block teams were the most viewed listings this year on the specialist property website homes.co.nz, with more than 5000 views each – that can probably be put down to TV and other media coverage. The fifth, basement apartment is still pulling viewers because it hasn’t yet sold.
Winners Lisa and Ribz were able to sell under the hammer. Their apartment went for $1.34 million, which was $50,000 above reserve – money they were able to pocket, along with the $100.000 winners’ check.
