Even during market downturns, their phones ring persistently, as vendors, seeking reliability, turn to proven agents with established track records.
In contrast, less successful or newer agents may find themselves struggling to secure clients, resorting to door-knocking with limited success. In downturns, the disparity becomes more pronounced, with successful agents maintaining their momentum while others are forced to consider second jobs or exit the industry altogether.

OneRoof delved into the data, identifying the busiest agents based on the number of properties they advertised on OneRoof.co.nz over the past year. The resulting list highlights 60 exceptionally busy agents who outpace their counterparts.
Despite the challenges posed by the post-COVID property slump and a general shortage of listings, these agents have maintained a vigorous pace. Topping the list is Cameron Bailey from Harcourts Gold in Christchurch, who adeptly managed 250 properties in the 12 months from August, totaling over $300 million in value.

To put this in perspective, the average residential agent on OneRoof handled a mere 14 listings over the same period, averaging just over one per month, with an average value of $800,000.
