Property sellers have gone into winter hibernation, real estate listings website Realestate.co.nz says.
The number of new properties listed for sale fell in 15 of the 19 regions on the website in June.
There were 8136 new listings in the month, almost 10 per cent down on June 2017.
“Three regions recorded all-time new listing lows in June compared to the previous year,” realestate.co.nz spokesperson Vanessa Taylor said.

These were the Gisborne, where the 41 new listings were down 41.4 per cent on 2017, West Coast (down 25.8 per cent, with 49 listings) and the Wairarapa region (down 27 per cent, with 84 listings).
