IT might not have a celebrity vet, or a reality show about hunky lifesavers, but Manly on Sydney’s northern beaches is the top spot overseas house hunters hope to call home when they head down under.
Property portal, realestate.com.au, has studied the hits on their site generated from outside Australia and after Manly with 32,586 searches over the six months to January 31, the most sought after suburbs were South Yarra in inner city Melbourne (31,949) and Surfers Paradise in south eastern Queensland (29,494).
