No one can solve ‘Elaine’ mystery, but agents report ‘good interest’ in $80m Fairfax mansion

No one appears to know who “Elaine” was.

“A good and reoccurring question but it is a mystery,” says the affable Ken Jacobs, the Christie’s International agent charged with selling the $80 million Fairfax mansion in Point Piper.

The name predates the long-term Fairfax occupancy and ownership and the Woollahra Council historians spent days investigating, with no success.
