Despite pleading not guilty, Ms. Jakob is scheduled to appear in Downing Centre Court on August 28th, as reported by the Daily Telegraph. She has been released on bail under the condition that she refrains from contacting, harassing, or threatening Mr. Burn, and abstains from damaging his property or any animals he owns. Additionally, she must not be in Mr. Burn’s presence within 12 hours of consuming alcohol or illicit substances, and an interim apprehended violence order has been issued for Mr. Burn’s protection.

Ms. Jakob, formerly married to tech investor Gabriel Jakob, co-owner of the investment firm Hyper Capital, resides in the affluent suburb of Point Piper with her ex-husband. The couple’s real estate portfolio includes three luxurious waterfront properties on Wolseley Street, acquired without external financing. Notably, they purchased a $27 million vacant lot overlooking Sydney Harbour in late 2022, sparking rumors of plans to amalgamate their properties into a grand waterfront mansion.

All references to her previous marriage have been expunged from Ms. Jakob’s Instagram profile, where she has been sharing images of her relationship with her new partner since September. Their first property acquisition on Wolseley Street in 2019 was followed by subsequent purchases, positioning their residences along one of Sydney’s most sought-after addresses.
