• AN apartment owner in Randwick has made a tidy profit from their one-bedroom home which went under the auctioneer’s hammer today.

Bought off-the-plan for $525,000 two years ago, the property at 3/201 Barker Stended up selling for $758,000.

Four buyers registered to bid on the modern apartment with three actively competing.

Bidding opened at $700,000 and rose in $10,000 increments before slowing down in $5000 lots.
