They’re the hottest property in real estate, the chic streets where you can only entertain moving if you are in the multi-millionaire’s club.
Real estate insiders have put together a list of Sydney’s most exclusive enclaves, where the streets are paved with gold, and unsurprisingly jaw-dropping water views are often a deciding factor as is the status the princely properties afford the owners.
“There are places where, if you live there, it’s the ultimate sign you’ve made it,” agent Bill Malouf said.
The veteran LJ Hooker agent has sold some of Australia’s priciest homes and said Point Piper’s Wolseley Rd was probably the city’s most prestigious street, adding owning a home there gave you the ultimate bragging rights.
“It’s widely considered locally and internationally to have the best harbour views,” Mr Malouf said. “Buying there is a sign of prestige.”
