Investor heartlands in the capital cities could be outshone by 40 country towns across Australia, a forecaster claims.

With baby boomers on the verge of retirement age, national research company Propertyology’s managing director, Simon Pressley, expects there will be a surge in buyers seeking affordable homes in regional areas over the next 15 years.
