The modern Mediterranean-style residence, known as Casa Capri, commanded a sale price of $8 million, yielding a remarkable profit for local entrepreneurs Mark and Heather Lambert. They had initially acquired the 1,012-square-meter vacant parcel adjacent to Kingscliff Beach for $2 million back in December 2020.
Marketing agent Nick Witheriff, representing LJ Hooker Kingscliff, disclosed that two written offers materialized mere days after the property on Cylinders Drive was listed. The home had caught the attention of Australian actor and Barbie sensation Margot Robbie, among other high-profile local holidaymakers like surf champion Stephanie Gilmore and former footballer Sonny Bill Williams.
“Margot missed out!” exclaimed Mr. Witheriff.
“We received a barrage of interest, both domestic and international, including individuals like Margot Robbie, who had a virtual tour of the property. Ultimately, we sold the residence to a young family from Sydney who plan to relocate with their children for a new seaside lifestyle.”

Building designer Jayson Pate was enlisted to conceive the glamorous six-bedroom, five-bathroom residence, which was completed in 2022. According to PropTrack data, the median house price in Kingscliff stands at $1.85 million.”
