A real estate agent, Augusto Gerocarni, who stands accused of assaulting his girlfriend, was associated with another individual found guilty of assaulting a woman with a stick during a ski trip. Gerocarni, aged 29 and identified as an agent for Ray White in Woollahra, was apprehended at his Bondi Junction residence last month. He faced charges of common assault, property damage, attempted stalking or intimidation, and four counts of assault causing bodily harm during his time at Waverley Police Station. It is essential to note that Gerocarni’s guilt regarding these charges has not been determined.

Ms Bennett, who works as a model and nurse, had been in a relationship with Gerocarni for three-and-a-half years before ending it in June this year
According to the police, Gerocarni, a high-profile businessman, allegedly assaulted his former partner, Lindsey Bennett, aged 32, between November 2021 and July 2022. An application for an apprehended violence order was also submitted on behalf of Ms. Bennett.

Gerocarni had previously worked alongside another real estate agent, Phoenix Tysonn, aged 29, who had pleaded guilty to two domestic violence offenses: assault causing bodily harm and common assault. Tysonn received a nine-month jail sentence in September but appealed the decision and was subsequently granted unconditional bail. He is set to appear in court again on November 6. In one incident reported by the Canberra Star, Tysonn struck a woman in the face with a stick during a trip to Thredbo in January and spat in the face of someone attempting to intervene.
Both Gerocarni and Tysonn had collaborated on property sales, with client testimonials about their partnership posted on the Ray White Woollahra and Paddington office’s Instagram account. Tysonn had been part of Gerocarni’s team at Ray White.

Mr Bo said Gerocarni (pictured together) was a ‘rapidly rising superstar’
It’s worth noting that both Gerocarni and Tysonn received coaching sessions from the former McGrath real estate agent Adrian Bo, who had been dismissed from his role as interim head of sales at McGrath in 2019 for allegedly making inappropriate comments to a junior staffer. Bo has denied these allegations and has shared photographs of himself with Gerocarni’s team at the Ray White office in Woollahra, along with a separate image of him with Gerocarni, referring to the latter as a “rapidly rising superstar.”
Gerocarni recently appeared in Waverley Local Court and was granted conditional bail. While on bail, he is required to maintain good behavior and refrain from contacting Ms. Bennett or any potential witnesses.
Ms. Bennett, a model and nurse, had been in a relationship with Gerocarni for three and a half years before ending it in June of this year. She had resided with him in his Bondi Junction unit as well as in another apartment within the same suburb.
Gerocarni has been working as an independent contractor for Ray White since 2016 and is scheduled to appear in court again on October 26. His lawyer, Anthony Sissian, has stated that his client denies the allegations and intends to plead not guilty.
